Connect Fyrebox to ChatGPT and Claude

What you can do

  • Create trivia, personality, assessment, or branching scenario quizzes from a simple prompt.
  • Edit questions, answers, correct answers, scoring, and branching logic.
  • Customize the look — colors, fonts, logo, background — and configure lead-capture forms and result pages.
  • Generate an AI background image for any quiz.
  • Start from ready-made templates, clone, or delete quizzes.
  • Review the responses (leads) your quizzes collect.

Every quiz is saved to your Fyrebox account, ready to share or embed.

Connect from ChatGPT

Fyrebox uses ChatGPT's Developer Mode for custom MCP connectors.

  1. Open ChatGPT and go to Settings → Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode, then enable it.
  2. Under Connectors, choose to add a custom connector.
  3. Enter the MCP server URL: https://www.fyrebox.com/mcp
  4. When prompted, sign in to Fyrebox (Continue with Google or email) and approve access.
  5. Start a chat and ask ChatGPT to build a quiz — see the example prompts below.
Tip: Use the Developer-Mode connector, not the Deep Research slot — Fyrebox's tools are actions (create and edit quizzes), not search/fetch. Write actions will ask you to confirm before they run.

Connect from Claude

  1. Open Claude and go to Settings → Connectors, then add a custom connector.
  2. Enter the MCP server URL: https://www.fyrebox.com/mcp
  3. Sign in to Fyrebox (Continue with Google or email) and approve access.
  4. Ask Claude to create or manage a quiz.

Data and privacy

  • The connector accesses only your own Fyrebox account: your profile (name, email, plan), your quizzes, and the responses your quizzes collect.
  • It connects with OAuth — your password is never shared with the assistant, and you can revoke access at any time.
  • Background images are generated through a third-party provider (Recraft) from prompts derived from your quiz content.
  • Fyrebox does not use your quizzes or responses to train AI models.
