Marketing Manager

Own practical, measurable marketing programs that introduce more businesses, educators, and creators to Fyrebox.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on marketing manager who can set priorities and execute across the customer journey. You will sharpen Fyrebox's positioning, grow qualified demand, improve conversion, and help customers understand how interactive quizzes can support lead generation, education, ecommerce, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a focused marketing plan tied to qualified acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and revenue goals.
  • Develop positioning and messaging for Fyrebox's core audiences, use cases, features, and integrations.
  • Own SEO and content programs from research and briefs through publication, distribution, measurement, and improvement.
  • Plan product launches, lifecycle campaigns, partnership initiatives, and customer stories in collaboration with product and engineering.
  • Improve key website and signup journeys through research, copy, testing, and funnel analysis.
  • Track channel performance, maintain clear reporting, and use evidence to stop, continue, or expand programs.
  • Coordinate specialist contractors or partners when their skills can improve the quality or pace of delivery.

Requirements

  • At least four years of professional marketing experience, including ownership of measurable growth or demand-generation programs for a SaaS or digital product.
  • Strong positioning, copywriting, editing, and campaign planning skills across website, search, email, and partner channels.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, conversion optimization, lifecycle marketing, attribution, and funnel analysis.
  • Ability to turn data and customer research into clear priorities, experiments, and decisions.
  • A record of shipping useful work independently while coordinating effectively with product and technical colleagues.
  • Strong project management and attention to detail across several concurrent initiatives.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to educators, ecommerce teams, agencies, creators, or small businesses.
  • Experience with product-led growth, freemium SaaS, international audiences, or partner marketplaces.
  • Comfort working with analytics tools, search performance data, lightweight HTML, and content management workflows.
  • Experience marketing AI-assisted products or interactive content tools.

Working arrangements

Full-time. Remote within Australia. 38 hours per week, with flexible working hours and reasonable overlap with Melbourne business hours.
