Take the circular card and number colour-marked circles from the smallest (1) to the largest (6).
Done? Now take the paper table with black letters and you will see a little table. Fill in the letters from the colour-marked circles (each circle contains three letters) starting with the smallest (the letters from the smallest circle will be in the first column while the letters from the largest circle will be in the last, sixth column).

Have you now revealed the full name of our forgotten genius? Great!

While this man is very famous around the world, here in the Czech Republic his name is remembered mostly in Moravia, where he was born and spent most of his life. He was a patient observer of nature, which interested him in many ways. He was also careful in preserving everything he discovered. Although his work had once been forgotten for a long time, it was later rediscovered and used by scientists all around the globe.

So what did he achieve?

His experiments with peas laid the foundations of the scientific field that we call GENETICS today.
